Disciplines and subdisciplines

Drawings attached to buildings can be assigned to disciplines or subdisciplines. This groups the drawings in a folder structure, when viewing the building. This makes it easier for on-site personnel to find their relevant drawings.

 User rights

Disciplines and subdisciplines can be created by either the project administrators, project planning managers, or users with 'Edit' permissions for buildings.

To create and assign drawings to disciplines and subdisciplines, the project needs to have at least one building with linked drawings. Disciplines and subdisciplines can also be created when creating or editing new buildings for the project. Disciplines and subdisciplines are project-wide and once created, can be used on any building in the project.
