This article will cover how to upload standard and 360 images to the Documentation module.
Images in Dalux FM can be registered on maps and drawings, which will make it easy to find and organize images for different buildings. It is possible to control who has access to image registrations by setting permissions in User roles.
Note that Image registrations are manually uploaded to Dalux FM. Images saved in work orders etc. are not added to image registrations in the Documentation module.

Administrators or those who have 'Image registration' permissions in their user role, have access to image registration. It is possible to add 'Edit image registration' rights if a user also needs to be able to upload, edit, and delete images.
How to upload image registration to Dalux FM
To get started with image registration in Dalux FM, you can either go to the Locations module or the
Documentation module. We will show you both below. Uploading images with a placement makes it easier to find image registrations for specific buildings.
How to upload images in the Documentation module
You can upload image registrations in the Documentations module by going to:
Documentation
Images.
An image can be uploaded by clicking on Create.
You can then find the image on your computer, and a new window will open. Name the image and select whether it is a standard or 360 image. This will affect how the image is shown in Dalux FM. In this case, we are uploading a 360 image, so we mark the image type as such.
You can set the placement of the image, either to a Building or Place on map.
When setting the placement as Building you search for it by typing in the name of the building. You can also click on -icon to open a list of all the buildings in the instance.
Find your buildings in the list, click on it, and then click on 'Select'.
If you select the placement as a building, you can also place the image on a floor plan, if the building has floor plans uploaded to it.
Do so by clicking on Place on floor. This opens a floor plan, where the image can be placed. It is possible to select one or more rooms as the placement.
You can also set the placement of the image by using the map. To do so, click Place on map. If you place the image with the map view, any created lots will be visible. If you place the image on a lot the location data from the lot is automatically added.
How to upload images in the Locations module
Images can also be added by using the Locations module. This is done on the map view.
To get started, go to the Locations module in the sidebar. You can then zoom in with the mouse wheel or click on the numbered circles on your map.
Clicking anywhere on the map will show the Create prompt. When you click on
Create you can then select
Images. This will then open the same upload window as shown above.
If your building has a BIM model with floor plans, it is also possible to upload images by clicking on a floor plan, and then Create
Images. This will then open the same upload window as shown above.
