You can now use a mini map to easily navigate in the model view. In the map view, we have added coordinates to the side menu that can be copied. Improvements have been made to alignment and alignment zones. |
Colourize rooms based on the latest SiteWalks with a new clearer colour scheme. SiteWalks are now displayed in a grid view showing a thumbnail of the walked path and SiteWalks can be opened directly from grid/list view. |

List View for User Groups
When browsing and managing the user groups in a project, a list view is now available for easier navigation of the groups. The users in the group will be displayed when hovering over the group user field:

NEW: Dalux Sender Email Address Changing to 'notifications@dalux.com'
The sender email address from Dalux is changing from 'mailrobot@dalux.com' to 'notifications@dalux.com'. This is an ongoing process with some email types already having changed to the new address and others following at a later date.

Rejection status column in the Rejected List View
This feature allows you to see whether a rejected file is the latest version in a flow and if the file requires action to be taken. Within the 'Rejected status' column, there will be the values of 'New'/'Closed', where 'New' means that there is no newer version of the rejected file and requires an action:
The document controller can with this feature also save a filter named "Rejection that requires action" with the Rejection status set to equal 'New'.

Select Output Status in the Last Step of File Flow
With this feature, you have the option to allow the last step of a file flow to select the output status of the file. If no status is selected in the setup, the last step will be prompted to choose a status for the file:

Columns for Latest Version in File Flow and File Area
When viewing files in list view, two columns have been added to make it possible to see if the latest version of a file is in shared or published files:

Two new columns have been added to the file flows list view, to show when a flow was started and by whom:

File Status Included in Email Notification
When files have been approved or authorized using a file flow, the file status will now appear in the notification email:

If you have ignored a clash, you now have the possibility to unignore it:

User groups must now be assigned access to model validation. This is done in the Box settings.

It is now possible to select 'File name' as a property when setting up clash checks in Model Validation.

'Published Files' File Area Added to Box Standard
The 'Published files' file area has been added to Box Standard. Files can be manually authorized to published files from the -menu. Published files will be 'On by default' on new projects using Box. Published files automatically match the folder structure. Drawings in Locations will only be visible if they are in published files.
You can activate 'File areas' in Settings > Box. Read more about File Areas here.

File Tabs added to Box Standard
Files Tabs have been added to Dalux Box Standard. Multiple tabs can be opened at the same time, and you can switch between a collapsed mode or expand the view to see thumbnails. Tabs lets you easily browse multiple files, and you can quickly jump between tabs.

Jump Directly to a File Location in Box
When browsing through "All files" in Box, a new button has been added to the "More" menu. The 'Open file location' button allows you to quickly navigate to the file's location within your Box folder structure.

Preview of Microsoft 365 Documents in Comments, Version sets and Review packages
Microsoft 365 documents now display with a preview of the document when opening these in areas such as Comments, Version sets and Review packages.

Improvement to Project/Company Import of Checklists with Auto Task Generation
When a checklist with auto-task generation on lists is copied between project <-> project and company <-> project, auto-task generation is now kept by also importing the task templates:

If you have a "Photos and attachments" field in your checklist, you can see whether there is data in it (if an attachment has been added) from the list view:
Tasks Created from a Checklist Linked to an Inspection Plan Now Take the Name of the Checklist Field
Tasks created from a checklist field, assigned to an inspection point, takes the name of the checklist field as subject:

Change the Title of a Meeting Agenda in Draft Status
The title of a meeting can be changed if it is still in the Agenda/Draft status and has not been sent out to attendees.

The status for Daily logs is shown in the list view along with a color-coded status dots similar to Tasks.

Change the Order of Daily Log Types
The order of Daily log Types can be changed using the added Move up/down arrows. The order of the Types will be saved across all views.

The print option is now available for your own Daily logs and those Daily logs you have access to.

Field Administrators Can Add/Remove Users from the Field User Groups
Users in the Field administrator user group can now add and remove users from the other Field user groups.

Updates to Field Observer Access
The Field Observer role is now aligned to match the description. Field observers now also have read-only access to Safety Observations and all data in Capture (Photo albums, 360 photos, SiteWalk). Field observers do not have access to meetings, as meetings are also available in Dalux Box.
TIP: If you would prefer for some users to have a role that does not have read-only visibility to all data in Field, there is always the option to create a custom role instead. We have information about creating customer roles on our Help Center.
Add Multiple Pre-Created Work Packages from the Company Profile
Add all or specific pre-created Work packages to a project, by using the new checkboxes. The preview -icon has been moved to clarify which Work package is being previewed.

See Who Most Recently Acted and When in Hold Points in Checklists
Hold Point Checklists now include data on when and on who last returned or approved each hold point within the checklist. This will only show if audit information is toggled on in the Hold point checklist settings.

Use time ranges to see all 360 image registrations on drawings in Locations. The registrations are coloured-coded according to the time ranges as shown in the legend.

Map Coordinates While Hovering and for Elements/Tasks
When hovering your mouse in the map view, a set of coordinates will be displayed in the lower-left corner of the screen to make it easy to quickly assess the coordinates of the location.
When clicking/selecting a spot on the map or an element or a registration, its coordinates will displayed instead of the hover coordinates:

Mini Map Feature
A 'mini map' feature has been added to the model view to make it easy to quickly navigate and assess where that part of the model is located on the map:

Split Map/3D View
Just like in the top-down view, it's now possible to go straight to 3D from the map view. This will generate a split view between the map and the 3D model. From this view, it's possible to go full 3D with the mini-map or close the model and go back to the map.

New "Map" Menu in Settings
We have moved all the map and Infrastructure configuration from the Locations setup to a new map menu along the Infra areas and Structures (previously “Building”).
In this new menu, you can select the project coordinate system, upload all the GIS information, map layer, and alignments and have a preview of these elements at the same time.

Alignments Grouped Per Alignment File
Alignments will now be nested under their alignment file to show which file they are coming from. This is both shown on the map and in the alignments menu under Settings:

Improvements to Alignment Zones
Improvements have been made to the zones of alignments granting more flexibility in creation, by making them more customizable. You can choose between automatic and manual lengths, a starting station and customize the naming convention:

Cross Section: Axis Height Fix
This release includes a fix to the axis height making it easier to use when navigating cross sections (Make sure you have an alignment file containing profile information otherwise it wont be visible):

If the map background is too intrusive, adjust its transparency to better see infrastructure elements.

Expanded Support for WMTS to All Coordinate Systems
So far it was only possible to use WMTS using Global coordinates or the UTM base coordinate system. With this release, we have expanded this functionality to all coordinate systems.
Added Support for SHP GIS Format
Support for SHP GIS format has been added.
LandXML Files as 3D Models
LandXML files can now be uploaded as 3D models.
Deactivate the Map View from Infrastructure Projects
When editing project settings on an Infrastructure project, you can now toggle the map on or off. This removes/adds the map view in the Locations module.
Infrastructure projects will have the map view active by default, which will be the primary view.

Colorize Rooms Based on the Latest SiteWalk Date
When viewing a level drawing with room data, it is now possible to colourize the rooms based on the latest SiteWalk data. The default colouring of the SiteWalks has also been changed to make it clearer when the SiteWalks were made.

New Grid View for SiteWalks with Several Improvements to Readability and Usability
SiteWalks will now open in a grid view showing a thumbnail of the walked route and information on when and who did the SiteWalk. This is the default view, and the grouping is by levels in the building. You can still change to the list view. Other improvements include:
- Ability to double click and open SiteWalks directly from the grid or list view
- Better overview of which SiteWalk are processing
- SiteWalk that have failed have been moved to the -menu

APARTMENTS
Create Apartment Units from Zones
Units can be automatically generated from the different zones on your selected Zone layer for Apartments. This makes the process of creating units much faster.

Managing Units is easier with the ability to delete multiple units at the same time. Dalux will warn that units with Residents or Documents cannot be deleted.
