How to submit files to a submittal
There are several ways to get an overview, of which submittals are pending your input.
All pending submittals can be seen from Box
Home - in the 'Pending submittal' dashboard card. Clicking on a submittal will open it. Clicking 'View all' will jump to the
All submittals folder.
You will also see a numeric value next to My submittals showing how many submittals you have pending.
In the submittal menu, you can see the different folders where submittals are organized.

-
My submittals - Submittals where you are responsible for submitting the files can be seen here
-

-

-

When viewing a submittal, all the info is shown (but cannot be edited). Files are added to the submittal by clicking Upload. You can upload files from your computer or Dalux Box.
Uploading files to a submittal using placeholders
In this example, the submitter has to upload 3 files matching the placeholder file names - as shown in the files area. It is possible to upload files outside the placeholders, and they will be added as 'Additional files' to the submittal.
You can click Upload in the toolbar or click the
-icon on a placeholder to upload files.
Note
If you upload a file directly to a placeholder the uploaded file will be renamed to correspond with the placeholder name.
When uploading files to the submittal it follows the same logic as other uploads to Dalux, such as for file naming templates.

Files matching the placeholder will be marked as uploaded and show a file type icon when available, in this case, a -icon and the remaining files counter will reflect the number of files still needed.

Files that do not match the placeholders are shown as 'Additional files' below the placeholders.

Uploading files to a submittal without placeholders
In this example, no file placeholders have been set up, so the submitter can upload files of any type and file name.
The absence of visible placeholders in the files area of the submittal indicates this.
The process is the same as when you upload files to a submittal with placeholders.

Resubmitting files in case of rejection
If the review manager returns a submittal, you can either delete an uploaded file or upload a new version of a file. When uploading a new version of a file, the version is also updated in Dalux Box.
To delete a file from a submittal, hover over the file and click . You will be prompted if you want to delete the file. Click 'Delete' to continue.
When deleting a file uploaded to a submittal, the file is not deleted in Dalux Box.
