The site inspections are closely tied to both tasks and checklists:

Tasks

You can create tasks from inspection points on your inspection plan, allowing you to create work for the subcontractor if the inspected work didn't pass inspection.

Creating a task from an inspection point allows for even better communication by letting the subcontractor rectify the issue and respond to the construction manager.

Inspection plans

When the communication flow has been set up, you need to set up the inspection plans. It is also here that you can attach checklists to the points and set which tasks should be associated with the plans.

The best practice approach to setting up inspection plans is to divide the groups into different phases, as you can only add inspection points from the same group when creating a registration.

A simplified example of the phase division could be "Before construction", "During construction", and "After construction". To learn more about setting up Inspection plans, read this article: How to set up inspection plans
