Design coordination

As a design manager, design coordination involves overseeing and coordinating the work of various design disciplines to ensure that all project elements integrate smoothly.

This requires facilitating collaboration between architects, engineers, and consultants, resolving design conflicts, and ensuring the design meets project requirements, schedules, and standards.

Direct annotation of drawings, documents, and models, as well as the use of communication channels in Dalux Box, ensures that all relevant parties are involved in discussions and can actively contribute to solving problems.

Create and send issues

Before creating a new comment, be sure to show comments from other participants to avoid duplicates, as comments can be made simultaneously.

Whenever an issue needs to be addressed, it is best to make it clear where it came from. So, when creating a comment, be sure to reference the drawing, document, or model with a clear annotation.

Separate different issues into multiple comments so that the recipient knows exactly what to do.

Remember that everyone in the communication channel can see and respond to the comments, not just the user or user group to whom you assign the comment.

Use Duplicate to quickly make a copy of an existing comment and then DaluxIcon_link.pngLink to, to link comments together if they are related.

Comment type

Create a comment type that is used only for design coordination so that other processes do not get mixed up in the coordination. Since this comment type is for day-to-day coordination, don't make it too complicated with many mandatory fields.
