Construction safety inspections

As a safety manager, it is important that workers follow agreed safety procedures. Scheduled safety inspections can ensure that the work environment, equipment, processes, and emergency plans are regularly reviewed, and any deviations are communicated and followed up.

Safety inspection

The Dalux safety inspection feature allows the safety manager to quickly capture the safety issues and communicate any deviations to the project participants for action.

Safety inspections and issues are tracked on the safety dashboard, where the safety manager can get an overview of site safety.

Make sure that categories and subcategories follow any national and local standards but remember that they are also used to speed up the process of creating security issues and are used in the structure for reports.

Categories

Since the categories are used in the safety inspection reports, make them short, clear, and concise so that they are easy to read when the report is opened or printed.

Subcategories

The subcategories are used to communicate why the safety manager found an issue and what the contractor needs to fix.

They should include a list of the most common issues found at the site and be more descriptive in nature.
