A review package in Dalux can help facilitate the interdisciplinary review of projects.
In this article we will cover where to find the review package, how to create comments, and how to respond to comments.

Review package banner
When you are part of an active review package, and the deadline has not passed, you are greeted with a yellow banner under Home in
Box.

This banner informs you about the name of the review package, time left until deadline, number of documents in the package, and a direct link to the files in this review package
Review package dashboard
Review packages are located under Box
Review packages.
This lists the current active review packages that you are a member of, as well as archived review packages.
Click a review package name in the list view to open it and display the review package dashboard.

If a review package is overdue (past its deadline), it is still considered active, but is marked as expired.
In the side menu, you can access files and comments.
All Files: Click to see all file versions added to this review package. A file can never have two or more versions of the same file added to the same review package.
Review comments: All the comments made by users of the review package, regardless of who is responsible for them.

The review package dashboard consists of:
- Package: The name of the review package with a brief description.

Status:
- Active review packages allow you to create, reply to, and close comments.
- Archived review packages allow you to reply to and close comments, but do not allow you to create new comments.

Deadline: Indicates the deadline. It is still possible to access and create/respond/close comments. The banner in
Home is no longer active and the review package is marked as expired in the list view.
- Comment type: Indicates the comment type used in the review package.
- File area: This indicates where the file versions originate. Adding files from different file areas to the same review package is not possible.
- Remaining time: This indicates how much time you have before the deadline.

Status:
- Inbox: A list of all the comments you are responsible for. Click 'View all' to navigate to all comments for this review package
- Files: A list of all file versions added to the review package. Click 'View all' to navigate to all file versions added to this review package. When a file has been added to a review package, it is always a specific version of that file, and this version is not automatically changed when you upload a new file to the original folder where it came from. File versions in a review package must be changed manually by the administrator.
- User groups: List all user groups that have access to this review package. All members of a user group can see and reply to all comments, not just those they are responsible for.
Create, respond, and close a comment
Note
Be aware, that all comments you create are visible to all participants of the review package
It is important that you create the comments while you are in a review package because this will automatically create the correct comment type and add it to the review package.

Create comments without a file
You can create a comment to the review package, without adding it to a specific file. To do so, go to:
Review comments
New
Fill in the comment
'Save'.

Create comments on a document or drawing
To add comments to files, you must first open the file.
Under a review package, click All files
Select the file
Show.
This opens the file, and you can add comments and annotations to the file:
New Comment
Annotate the document or drawing
Fill in the comment
'Create'.

Respond to comments
You can find comments in your Inbox or All comments, click or double-click a comment to open it.
You can assign the comment to a new responsible and add an attachment and a message. This is done by:
Select a new assignee Write a short message
