Dalux FM offers several ways to manage the economy of work orders and recurring work orders.
This article describes how to use inventory items to calculate costs and how to select items from a store room.

Technical information
The Budget module with Invoice must be activated for the FM instance.
Read this article: Set up the Budget module.
The template for the work order must include 'Economy'.
Calculate the expected cost with stock items
The expected cost can be calculated with the use of stock items.

- Name: Text box to identify the item.
- Quantity: Enter the amount to be included in the calculation.
- Unit: Select the unit of the amount, this will not affect the calculation.
- Unit price: Enter the unit price for the calculation.
- Purchase price: This will display the 'Quantity*Unit Price' result.
- Sales price: Enter the sales price for information, it will not affect the calculation.
- Account: Select the account to be linked to a budget item. Only one (1) account can be used for all items.
The sum of the purchase price is displayed below the columns and is used for the 'expected costs' of the work order.
There are no restrictions on the number of items you can add to calculate the cost, and they will only affect the 'expected costs'.
Use stock items from store rooms
If inventory management is active, then each stock line can be selected from a store room:

Click to the right of a stock line to search for and select an item from a storehouse. Only active items are displayed in the list view.

The item selection will use the unit, unit price and sales price from the item data and this cannot be changed here.
It will also track items in stock from the selected store room and if the quantity exceeds the items in stock, a warning will appear highlighting the issue.
