General changes
New announcement system
The welcoming message has been changed to an announcement system. This new system lets you create and save different announcements and control whether they are visible to internal or external users.

New user role permissions added
Permissions in user roles are more clearly defined now.
Administrator permission has been added to Locations. Separate permissions have been added for checklist administration, BIM and drawings. Permissions are:
- Access: View access to the module and features
- Edit: Create and edit data
- Administrator: Create, edit, and delete data. Access to the settings for the module
User field descriptions will show when hovering over a value
If you add a description to user fields, these will appear when hovering your mouse over the value.

Better visibility of no access to documents and assets
Documents and assets will appear greyed out for users without access, allowing them to quickly identify what they can't open. This will make it easier to see at a glance.

User fields are separated into categories
The user fields in settings have been organized into different categories.

Link directly to assets, work orders, and buildings
While viewing a work order (or recurring work order), assets, or buildings, you can access a direct link from the More menu. You can share this link with other users, and it will open for them when they log in.

New email signature system
The new email signature system customizes the signature in emails sent from your Dalux FM instance. This system will eventually replace the "Notifications" feature. You can use a combination of formatting tools and placeholders to create a custom signature for general, tickets, work orders, and supplier emails.

Settings for email notifications moved to personal settings
The individual user can now manage their email notification settings, which have been relocated to My profile.

Upgraded print function
The print function for work orders, checklists, and tickets has been improved by letting you close the window while larger prints are being processed in the background. When the printing is done, you will receive an email to let you know that it has finished:

'Save' will not close the dialog window
The change from the previous release where the dialog window for work orders, tickets, and recurring work orders will no longer close when clicking 'Save' has been expanded to most other windows in FM.
Domain setup for Azure AD
You can establish login policies for domains in Azure AD, determining whether users from specific domains must use it.

'Outside areas' has been removed
The outside areas feature has been removed.

MS Office files (Word, Excel etc.) can be opened and read directly from Dalux.

Work orders
Work order number, name, and placement added to checklist prints
When printing checklists the name, number, and placement of the related work order will be shown on the print. Placement will include building, room, and asset. If the work order is placed on a lot, the print will state which estate the work order is placed on. If the work order is placed outside, the placement will show as 'Placed on map'.

Unable to combine assets from a building and the map on a work order
You can’t select asset placement for a work order in both a building and on the map at the same time. If you’ve already chosen an asset placement for a work order, only assets from that category will show up when you try to add new assets.

Checklist template administration in user roles
You can set user roles permission for administrating checklist templates.

Warning when changing a checklist template
A warning will appear when you modify checklist templates currently used in work orders. This clarifies that changes will only affect new checklists.

You can set permission to documents for suppliers. You can control if the supplier is able to see and/or edit all or specific documents.

You can now display both the supplier and service agreement when adding them to a work order.

When a supplier creates a ticket in the supplier portal, they can now add documents to the tickets.

The attached documents are visible to the reporter in chat on the HelpDesk portal and can be opened directly from there.

Assets
New dialog when creating assets from GIS
When working with GIS, you can create one or more assets from the selected GIS objects. You can either create one asset for each GIS object or combine multiple objects into a single asset.

The Create button in the Assets toolbar now works like the work order pages, allowing you to choose what to create.

The placement section of work orders now includes columns for GPS, lot, and estate when assets are placed on the map.

Classification is shown for documents attached to products
You can now view the classification code and classification in the list when looking at documents attached to products.

Permissions for products based on classifications
Access to products is now included in asset permissions. If a user can view an asset, they can also view the product information. Since products and assets are merged, custom rights for both are managed with a classification filter.
