Documentation

Read and edit Microsoft Office documents

Read office documents (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) in FM and edit them in MS365 online directly from FM. When using the integrated Microsoft Office tools for the first time a window will pop-up where you must confirm that you have an appropriate license before using the tools.

While editing the document in Microsoft 365, the document is locked in Dalux. When you exit the edit sessions, the document will update in Dalux.

Assets

Increased asset limits when importing assets from Dalux Handover

The limits have been increased so you can import more assets from a Dalux Handover project. This allows you to import an asset placed on a large number of 3D objects to FM as individual assets. The limit has been increased to 1000.

Locations

Ignore objects when using cuts

When using cuts in 3D, a selected category or file can be ignored by the cut. Using a combination of cuts and ignored categories/files allows you to see your model from a different perspective than before. Create a cut, and then click on an object from another file or category and choose to ignore it.
