Answering tasks on Dalux Mobile
From the home tab on Dalux Mobile, the inbox can be accessed.
Press 'Inbox' on the -screen and then press on a task. The task will be displayed, including the topic, location, description, and sender. Pressing
will show the available response options.
- Use
Add information if you want to add information, but not change the task status.
- Use
Report ready to answer the task. This will return the task to the person who sent it, and the task will leave your inbox.
- Use
Reject if the task was wrongly assigned.
Important
When you add information, the task will not be moved forward in the workflow and is not sent to another person.
This also means that no notification is sent to another user.
The "add information" button has multiple purposes. For example, you can use it to provide extra details to answer a question from the person responsible for the task.
Add a photo and a short description and press the -icon. In the example below, a received task is reported ready.
Tasks can also be opened from Locations.
Press Locations in the bottom menu. Then press the location selection menu at the bottom. A number will show next to the location name if there are tasks in that location. Press 'Show' to go to the location.
Tasks will appear as dots on the drawing. Press a dot, and the task can be opened by pressing the task name. The task can be answered using the same method as described above.
Answering tasks on Dalux Desktop
In this example, a task has been assigned incorrectly and will be declined using Dalux Desktop.
This is done by going to:
Dashboard
Field
Tasks
All tasks.

Then find the task by going to:
Inbox
Click the appropriate task
View.
Click Reject. In the pop-up window, enter a reason for rejecting the task and click 'Reject' to send it back to the sender.

The task is now returned to the sender and will leave your inbox.
Tips and tricks
In the home menu, you can press 'Show all folders' to view the various status inboxes. Tasks you have responded to will be in the 'Awaiting approval' folder until the sender approves them. Once approved, the task will move to the 'Closed' folder.
