This article will cover how you work with tasks in Dalux, such as creating tasks, finding and showing tasks, and creating filters.

Create a task
Important: Before creating tasks
To create tasks, you must be added to the workflow in the appropriate work package for the desired task type. If you don't have the necessary permissions, contact a project administrator who can give you the proper authorizations.

Creating tasks on the Dalux Mobile App
To create a task on a drawing:
Go to Locations
Select the building and the level
Press the desired placement on the drawing.
A new window will appear, from here a new task can be made:
Press New registration
'Tasks'
Choose the type
Fill in the information and attach files/photos
Press
to send the task.
Create tasks on Dalux Desktop
To create a task on a drawing:
Go to Locations
Select the building and the level
Click the desired placement on the drawing
New
Tasks
Select the task type from the list.

A new task window will appear. You can then fill in the information. To send the task click 'Create, send':

If you do not see the registration type panel, click in the search field and the panel will show.

When you look at tasks on your drawings, you can filter them using various filter options. You can for example filter by which folder the tasks are in, by work package, by type, etc. You can also add custom filters:

Filters for tasks
You can apply filters on the tasks, to display only the ones you want to see. Go to
Field

Add filter
Choose the filter type you want to add
Click 'OK':

Select the values you want to see by marking the appropriate checkboxes and clicking 'OK':

Save filters
If you want to save the filters that you have activated so that you can easily use them again later:

Save as
Write a name and click 'Save':

Show task parameters
You can choose which columns to show to edit what information is displayed in the list view. To edit the displayed columns, click on theto the right of the column bar and check the relevant boxes:

You can also visualize the tasks as a chart using various display options. To quickly show a chart divided into types of work packages or other filters, click :

If you want the chart to filter by parameters other than 'work package', you can choose the filter you want to apply to the chart instead:

You can save this chart as a PDF to view later or send it to others. To do this, click .

Select the desired type from the 'Group by' option to display a chart for other types.
