General updates
Create charts from headers in a list view
Graphs can now be created directly from the headers in a list view. This will make it faster to create graphs directly from the information you want to have displayed as a graph.
Once you have created a graph you can click on a specific area to dig deeper into the data.
In the top right corner you can return to the list view by clicking on 'List'.
Locations
Rooms in 3D
Rooms can now be shown in our Locations module. Simply click on the 'Rooms' button and all of the rooms in the model will become selectable solids. The color legend gives an overview of all the rooms and allow the user to search for specific rooms. This feature will be available in Box Pro and Field Pro. See more in our release video.
Zones button moved
We have moved the zone enabling from the toolbar to the top bar:
Expand all properties
We have added the option to see all properties on an object in a flat list without grouping.
Colors moved to Settings
The color templates have been moved from the toolbar in Locations to the Locations settings.
Add point clouds building or Infrastructure areas
You can now attach point clouds to a specific building/Infrastructure area in order to get more control on the visualization of them. We have also added the option to include a tag to them.
It is possible to add this information when uploading the point cloud, or to add it after the upload under the "Edit" option.
Point clouds in a specific location can be categorized by using the 'Tags' option, which will consider the types of elements visible in the cloud, the area or others.
At the same time, It is possible to see the full history of the point cloud that were added to the same tag.
Angle on measurements
When measuring from point to point, the angle will now be displayed for the measurement:
"Select all" option for models
For this release we have added a "Select all" option to rapidly turn on all the elements within a building or Infrastructure area.
Grouping of registrations when zooming out
In order to have a better visibility of registrations, they will be grouped together when zooming out of the focus area.
If you are looking at one specific area, it will be possible to identify all the registrations individually.
As soon as the view is changed to a broader one, the registrations will be gathered in one group, showing the exact number of registrations in that specific area.
Add documents to zones
It is now possible to add a document to zones directly from the Box interface. Select the drawing/ document that needs to be added and find the zone option under the "More" menu.
Infrastructure: Measure tools on map
For this release we have added the measure functionality to the map view.
The measure functionality can be used in infrastructure projects to measure distances and surfaces from the map/satellite view along with any other project elements.
Box
Revision formatting
When using the Shared- and Published Revision System in Dalux, it is now possible to change the formatting of the values. Instead of having only the revision (including subversions) shown as numbers, you can now use 'Numbers with prefix' or 'Letters':
In the example above, the prefix P (preliminary) is used for the shared revision and C (contractual) is used for the published revision.
As a result, the revision columns would then look like this:
The last formatting option is Letters for published revision. There you also have the option to add letters, that should be skipped in the letter series (this could be letters like I & O which could be confused with the numbers 1 and 0):
The letter series will automatically go from Z to AA, AB, AC and so on.
Link status to a file area (Files/Shared files & Published files)
If you are working with multiple files areas (Files, Shared files and Published files), It is now possible to link the status to a certain file area:
This feature will allow you to manage how and when the different statuses can be used on the project.
The following rules apply:
When the File area is set to All, it allows the selected status to be set both in Files, Shared Files and Published Files.
When the File area is set to Files/Shared Files, it allows this status only to be set in the Files and Shared Files Area. It will not be possible to have files with this status in Published files.
And when the File area set to Published it will remove the option to choose this status while uploading files or when changing the status for files in Files or Shared Files. Only when authorizing/publishing a file, can the published status be selected.
In the example you can see here, the statuses A1 - Authorized and A1 - Authorized with comments can not be selected during the upload:
However, when creating an authorization workflow towards the published files, the outcome status cannot be the statuses that are limited to Files/Shared files:
Duplicate file flow templates
You can now duplicate the file flow templates:
When you are creating a file flow that is almost identical to an already existing one, this feature will save you a lot of clicks.
The duplicated file flow template will copy all settings from the existing file flow, but will per default be deactivated.
Warning when deleting user groups on active file flow
To avoid files getting stuck in a file flow, we have added a warning when deleting a user group that is on an active file flow:
This warning will appear as soon as the file flow is active, so that future files in the file flow will not get stuck in the flow due to an empty step.
Automatic added to 'Notify' in comments
All users that write a message on a comment will be automatically added to 'notify' on the specific comment. Creators of comments will also automatically be added in 'Notify'.

Save comment-filters as group-filters
The group admin of custom user groups can now save comment filters as group filters:
This way every user of that user group can access the saved filters:
Default filters for comments
The old Inbox has been split into two separate inboxes, being My inbox and Group inbox:
The Group inbox is the same as the previous Inbox, whereas the new My inbox only consists of comments where the current user is set as responsible.
Furthermore we've also created a default filter for all comments with an overdue deadline.
