Dalux FM app

Improved list of tickets and work orders

We have made many improvements to the list of helpdesk tickets and work orders.

All lists now shows a thumbnail (first image) and we have revised the text for each ticket/work order. It now shows the following information:

  1. Status of the ticket/work order (colored dot)
  2. ID (the number)
  3. Title
  4. Placement (room no is always shown if placed on drawing or asset)
  5. Deadline and responsible (not shown for ‘my’ lists)

Further we have added some ‘quick actions’ on the ’︙’ button to quickly change status or add a note with a picture.

Filter by building from map

When filtering in lists, we have added a small improvement by selecting a filter building by map

Location

Create multiple assets directly from BIM

Now it is possible to multi create assets directly from the location module:

This will generate new assets (with a numbered name) for each of the BIM elements in the view:

Filter moved with more features

Now the filter option in the 3D BIM viewer is found in the toolbar. Everything regarding filtering and loading/saving filters is now located in one place:

You still have the possibility of filtering by text or adding filters and using the ‘advanced’ filter mode, where we have added some new features for selecting multiple values:

Color by properties

Before this release, color by properties was only available in the Dalux desktop app (from Microsoft Store). Now the feature is also available in browser:

HelpDesk

New topic options for Work Orders

One of the major and great improvements this release is many more options to improve the work flow from tickets to work orders.

You can now setup the following per topic:

  1. Set the default work order template for a topic
  2. Set the default work order priority for a topic
  3. Set the default attached checklist for a topic
  4. Set if the ticket should automatically should be converted to a work order (for teams)
  5. Set if the work order also should automatically be assigned to a supplier (Operations and Maintenance Pro feature)

image10.png

It greatly adds the flexibility and gives you the power of designing the right workflows for your teams, depending on the topic the helpdesk reporters choose.

For instance, a breakdown situation could have settings like:

Work order template: Breakdown maintenance template

          Priority: High

          Checklist: Breakdown incident checklist

          Auto create work order: Yes

This will automatically generate the correct work order to the maintenance team, based on the helpdesk topic.

Choose whether or not ‘description’ is mandatory

We have listened to you! Some of you have simple QR-code scan helpdesk ticket reporting, where the topic often is enough for reporting – e.g. “Trash full”.

Now you can choose whether or not description is required (per topic):

New elevated right for a helpdesk user

It is now possible to defined if a helpdesk user (based on email) should have an elevated right to see all tickets for a site or one or more buildings – and not only hers/his.

If added under ‘Helpdesk users’ in Settings -> Users, a new button in the helpdesk portal appear, where they have access to all tickets:

Add custom GDPR consent form

In some cases, where you don't have legal basis for handling personal data for helpdesk reporters, it is now possible to add a required consent flow in the HelpDesk portal with a link to your privacy terms (Dalux is not data controller, hence it must be your privacy policy). Dalux will send an email to the specified email, when people consent.

Operations and Maintenance

Time registrations

It is now possible to see all of your own time registrations for all work orders (no admin rights required):

image17.png

Service contract rights administration

Access to service contract information has been improved and can now be set to 4 levels on a user role:

  1. Can see and edit all service contracts
  2. Can see all details for service contracts
  3. Can see all service contracts but NOT documents and price
  4. No access to service contracts

You can now define ‘folders’ of checklist templates

This new feature is great for grouping and subgrouping checklist templates if you have many templates. It will help your teams to faster find and search the right checklists in the operations and maintenance module. Click ‘Settings’ in the checklist setup dialog:

Multiple checklist templates is now nicely organized in folders and subfolders

Other features

  • Contact person added to work order list view
  • New view in Companies dialog to quickly select suppliers with access to supplier portal
  • ‘Place on’ is now merged to one column instead of multiple ‘place on building’, ‘place on drawing’, ‘place on asset’ etc.
  • Create a new work order directly from supplier dialog

BIM and Documentation

Improved display of drawings

When showing drawings in the BIM and Documentation module, drawings now show almost full screen and you can now zoom, pan and do multiple measures (if scale is set) in the drawings:

Improved update of 3D drawings

Drawings that are mapped in 3D, can now be updated directly in BIM and Documentation module:

Set direction of 360 images + walkable 360 viewer

It is now possible to set the direction of 360 images. Click on the same spot on the drawing and in the 360 image:

image25.png

This will position and set direction of the 360 image.

When set for multiple 360 images on a drawing/level this will add the possibility of quickly jumping from spot to spot in the 360 viewer.

Compare 360 images

It is also now possible to compare two 360 images taken on different dates and showing the side-by-side in Dalux FM:
